Obituary of Mary Sue Ferguson Newlin

Mary Sue Ferguson Newlin, age 69, of Walton, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY.  She was a retired Accounting Technician for the Internal Revenue Service (over 45 years) and a member of First Baptist Church in Walton.  “Susie” enjoyed working on crafts, jigsaw puzzles and being active in her church including participating in Women on Mission. 

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Lorraine Newlin; sisters, Carolyn Ann Ferguson and Frances Carol Ferguson; brother, Claude Ferguson, III (Patti); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A visitation for Susie will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with services immediately following at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton, KY.  A second visitation for Susie will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119. On Friday, May 25, 2018 a third visitation will be held at Fisher Funeral Home, 1830 Cherry St., Vicksburg, MS 39180. Interment will be at Green Lawn Cemetery in Vicksburg, MS. 

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Walton, KY, Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Independence, KY or the Missions Department at Central Church, Collierville, TN.
