John Richard “Jack” Johnston, of Crittenden, KY passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the age of 59. 

He was born in Monongahela, PA on April 21, 1959; the son of the late Thomas and Rosetta Johnston. John was currently employed as a customer sales representative for Kaman Industries and attended mass at All Saints Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, boating and rooting for the Browns and Cavilers. John is survived by his wife, Brenda Johnston; partner, Audrey Cox; children, Thomas Johnston, and Caitlin Brashear; brothers, Michael and Thomas Johnston; sister, Linda Cross; and grandson, Alexander Lee Brashear.

A visitation for John will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018, from 4 to 7 pm, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence, KY. Funeral services will begin at 7 pm on Monday, June 18, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden, on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at 1 pm. Memorial donations in Jack’s name may be made payable to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
