Obituary of Helen Genita Kloentrup

Helen Genita Redman Kloentrup, age 93, of Morning View, KY, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at her residence.  She was a homemaker and a member of St. Matthews Church in Morning View.  Over the years, she was active in 4-H and the Kenton Fire Department and enjoyed spending time with her family.  Her husband, Hugh Kloentrup, preceded her in death. 

She is survived by her children, Carl Kloentrup (Nancy Davis), Todd Kloentrup (Nancy), Genita Kiser, Beth McCarty, and Mary Jo Schmiade (Joe); nine grandchildren, Cap Kiser (Brandy), Kevin McCarty (Shelley), Nicole McCarty, Jill Schmiade, Sarah LaFollette (Justin), Rachel Kloentrup, Lisa Crail (Jordan), Joseph Schmiade, Kelsey Schmiade; six great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Lindy, Anna Beth, Addy, Leighton, and Connelly. 

Visitation will be Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, KY.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 18, 2018, at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, 13782 Decoursey Pike, Morning View, KY 41063.
