Obituary of Mark Jr. Dean

Mark Jr. Dean, age 75, of Morning View, KY, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 3, 2018 at his residence. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for Bode Finn and a U.S. Navy Veteran.  Mark enjoyed drag racing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.  His father, Mark Dean, Sr. and step-father, Paul Lay preceded him in death.  He is survived by his loving wife, of nearly 50 years, Minnie Reed Dean; daughters, Tammy Dean, Margie Dean Hickerson (Thom), and Markeeta Moore (Tyler); mother, Cleo Abercrombie; and grandchildren, Scarlet Dean, Roman McNeese, Bobby Fox, and Ashley Mays.  Visitation will be Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 8 p.m. at Community Family Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Rd., Independence, KY 41051.  Interment with military honors will be Friday at 12 noon at KY Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY.  Memorials may be made to Community Family Church to go towards their cancer patient ministry.  Online condolences may be expressed to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
