Obituary of Daniel Steven Hall

Daniel Steven “Herbie” Hall, age 62, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.

Daniel was born in Norfolk, Virginia, to Daniel and Betty Jo Peterson Hall. Daniel worked in construction and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He enjoyed collecting coins, army memorabilia and knives, he had a passion for motorcycles, and loved going to Lake Cumberland where he would fish.

Daniel is preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his father; three daughters, Maleah (Lee) Street, Sarah (Mark) Burnett, and Lora (Josh) Barnett; brothers, Douglas (Donda) and David Hall; two sisters, Deanna (Maury) Damon, and Denise (Jerry) Dungan; along with 3 grandchildren.

A visitation for Daniel will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, KY. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 pm. Burial will take place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, in Williamstown, KY. Donations in Daniel’s name may be made payable to Oleika Shrine Temples’ Transportation Fund, 326 Southland Drive, Lexington KY, 40503.
