Obituary of Eula M. Robinson

     Eula Mae Runion Powell Robinson, of Taylor Mill, KY, surrounded by her loving family at her residence, went into eternal rest with the Lord on Monday, September 24, 2018 at the age of 91.

     She was born in Newport, KY on September 11, 1927; the daughter of the Reverend Jack and Sarah Runion. Eula faithfully attended Taylor Mill Pentecostal Church, for which she was an extremely active and devoted member. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her cherished family who will miss her dearly.

     Eula was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Orville Powell and Dewey Robinson; sisters, Ocie Wolfinbarger, Dona Combs, Georgia Wood, Freda Anderson and Novella Hatfield and brothers, Allie Runion and Jack Runion, Jr. She is survived by her loving children, Diana Plageman, Ronald “Ron” (Laverne) Powell, Michael (Debbie) Powell and Kenneth (Kathy) Powell; sisters, Alice Trent, Wilma Land and Helen Hatfield; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends who will mourn her loss and cherish her lasting memory.

     A visitation celebrating Eula’s life will take place from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM the next day, Friday, September 28, 2018 at Taylor Mill Pentecostal Church, 5336 Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Burial will immediately follow in procession to Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials in Eula’s name may be made to Taylor Mill Pentecostal Church (see address above).
