Obituary of Patrick James "Jim" May

Patrick “Jim” James May, age 56, of Walton, passed away suddenly on September 30, 2018 in Florence, KY.

He was born on January 4, 1962 in Ft. Hood, TX; the son of Thomas and Cesarina May. Jim was currently working for TSA as an ESTO and was a United States Navy Corpsman Veteran who served for 20 years.

He enjoyed any activity that was water involved including scuba diving, snorkeling and his large salt water aquarium at his residence, which he took great pride in. Jim also found pleasure in traveling, building guitars and classic rock.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas May Sr. and his brother, Ralph May. 

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 8 years, Marcia May; children, Justin (Kayleigh) May and Tori (Mike) Boring; mother, Rina May; sister, Betty (Kevin) Calvert; brother, Tom May; grandchildren, Amelia and Moxie; and many other loving family members and friends.

A graveside committal service will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.

Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, are suggested to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, 3400 Vine St. Cincinnati, OH 45220.
