Obituary of Marvin Alan Curtis

Marvin Alan Curtis, age 70, of Latonia Lakes, KY, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

Marvin was born in Farmington, MI, to the late Lawrence and Beatrice Green Curtis. He was a retired assembler for X Tek, and a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Marvin proudly served his country in the United States Army, for 31 years. In his free time Marvin enjoyed drag racing, watching sports, and spending time with his family. Marvin is preceded in death by his son, Jason Curtis; daughter, Kristen Curtis; brother, Thomas Green, and first wife, Scherry Curtis. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Delores Jean Curtis; sons, Eric (Tonya) Black, Dennis (Argusta) Curtis, and Todd (Sarah) Curtis; brothers, Howard and Donald Curtis; grandchildren, Zachary, Dakota, and Isabella Curtis, Trey and Dakota Jackson; niece, Amber Ayala; as well as several other nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Marvin will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018, from 8 am to 11:30 am, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, KY. Funeral services will follow at 11:30, at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorial donations in Marvin’s name may be made payable to the American Cancer Society.
