Obituary of Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Meimann

Gerald “Jerry” Wayne Meimann, age 72, of Independence, KY, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

Jerry was born in Covington, KY, to the late Joseph and Mary Etta Sweeney Meimann. He proudly served is country in the United States Air Force. Jerry was retired from Hillshire Farms & Kahns. In his free time Jerry loved to fish, travel, and play with his dog Louis. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Deborah Meimann; brothers, Walter and Joe; sisters, Arnette and Delores; son-in-law, Clifford Cheesman; and grandson, AJ Todd. Jerry is survived by his son, Christopher (Tina) Meimann; Daughter, Cherish Cheesman; brother, James Miemann; grandchildren, Vincen (Kristin) Todd, Damon Lay, Torie (Evan) Mangold, Tasha Miemann, and Vanessa Cheesman; and eight great grandchildren.

A visitation for Jerry will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018, from 5 to 7 pm, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, KY. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm. Memorial donations in Jerry’s name may be made payable to the Alzheimer’s Association, 644 Linn St # 1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203.
