Obituary of Charles Ray Milner
Charles Ray Milner, age 63, of Walton, KY passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at his residence. He was a retired Carpenter for Messer Construction, a member of the Free Masons and a U.S. Army Veteran. Charlie enjoyed fishing, squirrel hunting, bowling, softball, playing cards, watching the Cincinnati Reds, and most of all spending time with his family. His parents, Charles and Ruth Milner, and grandson, Mason Smith preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Heidi Smith (Herbert), Shane Milner (Amanda), Sara Ballinger (Nick), and Sam Milner; step-daughter, Hannah Knaley; siblings, Bonnie Martin, Susan Rider, Debbie Tomlin (Wayne), Shirley Brewer (Pete), Herbert Milner (Bernice), Paula Howe, Mike Milner (Kim), and Kathy Mcintyre (Greg); and thirteen grandchildren, Morgan Smith, Mackenzie Milner, Chloe Smith, Raegan Smith, Rylee Smith, Noah Milner, Kenneth Smith, Airianna Perry, Kadence Knaley, Harley Knaley, Grayson Knaley, Mya Knaley, and Wyatt Ballinger. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. The funeral service will be Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 11 a.m .at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. Memorials may be made to the Walton Verona Veterans Memorial, 40 N.
