Obituary of Thomas Smith

Thomas A. "T.A." Smith Jr., 87, of Union, died Friday at his residence. He was a retired national sales manager from Acro, Columbus, Ohio, and a member of Mother of God Church, Covington. His wife, Catherine Mary Lawless Smith, preceded him in death. Survivors include a son, Thomas C. Smith of Union; a daughter, Jeannie Houston of Cincinnati; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Tuesday at Mother of God Church, Covington. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth North Hospice, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Ky. 41014. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, is handling the arrangements.
