Karen Kay Masters passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by her children on November 16, 2018. Karen was born on December 23, 1943, in Defiance, Ohio, the youngest child of the late Viola and Otto Kiessling. She is survived by her children: Terry (Donna) VanScoyoc, Stephen (Theresa) VanScoyoc, Corey (Yvette) Masters, and Christina (Brian) Taylor; nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey. Karen wished to be remembered for her strong will and wanted no mourning upon her death.
Per Karen’s wishes there will be no formal services held.
