Obituary of Cora Lee Dewitt

Cora Lee Dewitt, age 90, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence.

She was a retired real estate broker in Boone County and a member of Florence United Methodist Church. Cora Lee enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading and was very computer savvy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Ruth Rachford; first husband, Bob Smith; recent husband, Gail “Ike” Dewitt and brother, Dallas Rachford. Cora Lee is survived by her daughters, Renee Daniels, Robbie Shake, Bonnie Smith and Kaye Green; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends.

A visitation for Cora Lee will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 9AM until the time of the Funeral Service, 11AM, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will immediately follow at Hughes Chapel Cemetery.

Memorial donations in Cora Lee’s name are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45206.
