Obituary of Raymond Kohake

      Raymond John Kohake passed away peacefully surrounded by his cherished family on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center at the age of 82.

      He was born in Covington, KY on October 23, 1936; the son of the late Raymond and Ozella Kohake. Ray retired as an accountant after 50+ years at Robke Chevrolet and enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing cards. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family.

      Ray was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Grome.

     He is survived by his faithful and devoted wife of 45 years, Dotty Kohake; loving children, David (Lori) Kohake, Debbie (Tony Roland) Kohake Scott, Leslee (David) Inyart and Mark (Denise) Moore; brothers-in-law, Ralph Grome and Gene (Marty) Wells; grandchildren, Nikki Scott, Justin Kohake, Michael Moore, Kaitlyn Moore and Brooke Inyart; great-grandchildren, Addison Scott and Hunter Hood; as well as many other relatives and friends who will mourn his loss and cherish his memory.

      A visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051, where a funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow in precession to Mother of God Cemetery in Ft. Wright, KY.

     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 5211 Madison Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45227 in memory of Ray Kohake.
