Obituary of Ruth Mae Edwards

Ruth Mae McKain Edwards, 81, of Walton, died Tuesday at Gallatin Health Care Center, Warsaw. She was a retired Boone County jailer and a member of Walton Christian Church. Her husband, Wilson Edwards, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Basil E. Edwards of Burlington; daughters, Fran Beemon of Warsaw and Tracey Edwards of Tampa, Fla.; brothers, Edwin McKain of Harrison, Ohio, and Jordan McKain of Fort Myers, Fla.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Petersburg Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Walton Christian Church, 50 S. Main St., Walton, Ky. 41094
