Virginia A. “Ginny” Hampton of Ft. Wright, KY, went home to be with her Lord on January 1, 2019, at the age of 93.  Ginny was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Otis (of 42 years), their only child, Ruth Ann Crouch, son-in-law, Wayne Crouch, sisters, Marlene Delores Patrick and Eva Mae Taulbee, and brothers, Ken and Rod Jordan.  She is survived by her nephew, Anthony H. Patrick (Amy).

Ginny loved the Lord and served Him many years, teaching Sunday School, Bible School, and singing in the choir.  She served as Financial Secretary for some 30 years and many other things to further God’s Kingdom here on earth.

She is a member of Highland Avenue Tabernacle Church in Ft. Thomas, KY.  Ginny worked for the Chris A. Papas and Son Inc. for 52 years and loved every day of it.  The Papas family was and is very dear to her. 

Visitation for Ginny will be Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon with services beginning at noon at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, KY.  Interment will be at Wilmington Cemetery in Morning View, KY.  For directions, to order flowers, to share a message, or to extend condolences, please visit www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
