Obituary of Betty Collins Rose
Betty Bernice Collins Rose, of Union, KY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Villaspring of Erlanger Healthcare Center and Rehabilitation at the age of 92.
She was born in Stowe, West Virginia on August 14, 1926; the daughter of William John and Rosie Belle Binion. Betty had been a part of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW and as a Pink Lady volunteering at the Fanin County Regional Hospital in Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Richard Harold Collins; second husband, Clyde Rose and a daughter, Linda Joyce “Pris” Turman.
Betty is survived by her devoted children, Caren (Dan) Terlau and Daniel (June) Collins; loving grandchildren, Christopher Turman, Daniele Axtell, Jennifer Turman Noseworthy, Travis Terlau, Monica Thomas and Jessica Collins-Petzinger; caring great-grandchildren, Taylor Axtell, Madison Axtell, Cooper Noseworthy, Madeline Thomas, William Terlau, Lainey Terlau, Luke Turman, Jayden Thomas, Anasa Petzinger and Alexandra Petzinger; as well as many others who will mourn her loss and cherish her memory.
The family will be having a memorial service to celebrate Betty’s life on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Everytribe Church, 2201 Madison Avenue, Covington, Kentucky 41014. Burial will take place at the convience of the family at Alderson Cemetery in Alderson, West Virginia.
