Obituary of Robert Wayne Noble
Robert Wayne “Bob” Noble, of Burlington, KY passed away peacefully in the early morning of Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the age of 77.
He was born in Rising Sun, IN on November 13, 1941; the son of Lucian and Blanche Noble. Bob had worked at Roadway as a truck driver and was a long time member of Big Bone Baptist Church in Union, KY. In his early years, Bob enjoyed hunting for small game and deer. He then found a passion for farming and vegetable gardening, harvesting an abundance of crops in which his family all shared.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lucian Noble, Jr. and Larry Noble.
Bob is survived by his faithful and loving wife of nearly 60 years, Mary Jean (nee Hubbard); daughters, Paula (Chris) Ratcliff, Robin (Chris) Walton and Haley Densler; son, Randall “Randy” Noble; siblings, Norman (Sue) Noble and Wanda Davis; brother-in-law who was like a son, Bobby Joe “B.J.” (Leah) Hubbard; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as many others who will mourn his loss and cherish his memory.
A Gathering of Friends will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Big Bone Baptist Church, 11036 Big Bone Church Road, Union, KY 41091. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM at the church. Pastor Mike Jones will officiate.
