Obituary of Steven Thomas Pierson

Steven Thomas Pierson, Sr., age 62, of Independence, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY.  He was a former Manufacturing Specialist for ZF Boge Elastmetall in Hebron, KY and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Latonia, KY.  Steve enjoyed fishing, listening to southern gospel music, watching NBA basketball (especially Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors), and coaching basketball.  His mother, Betty Pierson preceded him in death.  He is survived by his wife, Donna Susan Pierson; children, Crystal Worstell (Jonah), Gregory Pierson, and Steven Pierson, Jr.; father, Wayne Pierson; brother, David Pierson (Carole); and grandchildren, Amber Pierson, Taylor Pierson, Dylan Pierson, Riley Worstell, Gavin Worstell, Gage Worstell, and Cora Worstell.  Visitation will be Monday, May 6, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the celebration of life service immediately following at 7 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 3711 Tibbatts St, Covington, KY 41015.  Private interment will be at Landmark Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati, OH.  Memorials may be made to the Pierson Family, c/o Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.  For directions, to share a memory or condolence for the family, or to view the Celebration of Life tribute video, please visit www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
