Obituary of Jerry Wayne Saxon

     Jerry Saxon, of Florence, KY passed away unexpectedly on May 13, 2019 at the age of 72.

     He was born in Louisville, Mississippi on January 20, 1947. Jerry owned and operated Emergency Systems Inc. and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed going to Cincinnati Reds and Bengals games, attending his grandsons sporting events, loved music, and playing guitar. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his beloved family.

     Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Jean Saxon and a brother, Steven Agee.

     He is survived by his faithful and loving wife of 42 years, Sharon Saxon; caring children, Lindsay Saxon and Ty (Jessica) Saxon; mother, Nancy Mohlenkamp; grandchildren, Xavier Lindenschmidt, Trent Saxon and Reid Saxon; as well as many other relatives and friends, both far and near, who will mourn his sudden loss and continue to cherish his memory.

     A visitation for Jerry will take place from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
