Alice Winniebee Brandenburg Obituary

Alice Winniebee Ryker Brandenburg, 71, of Crittenden, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church, Florence. She was a former Sunday school teacher at the church. Her husband, Joseph Leroy Brandenburg, died in 2003.




Survivors include a son, Joseph William Brandenburg of Crittenden; daughters, Vicky Lynn Day of Buffalo, W.Va., and Kimberly Kay Cross of Palm Bay, Fla.; sisters, Margaret "Tiny" Murphy of Kokomo, Ind., Peggy Engles of Wabash, Ind., and Faye Miller of Carlsbad, Texas; a brother, Ralph Ryker of Kokomo; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.




Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Grace Baptist Church, 10080 Demia Way, Florence, Ky. 41042.
