Obituary of Wayne Richard Webster

Wayne R. Webster, age 59, of Verona, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, at Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood, KY.  He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor for the Kentucky Department of Parks, a former Volunteer Firefighter for the Verona Fire Department and a member of Verona Church of Christ.  A graduate of Walton Verona Schools, after Wayne retired from the Kentucky Department of Parks, he went to work in the Walton Verona school system, retiring from there as well.   

His parents, Ray and Laura Ryan Webster and sisters-in-law, Susan and Hope Webster preceded him in death.  He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Lynn Hart Webster (37 years); son, Brandon Webster (Sarah); brothers, Clifton Webster (Teresa) and Terry Webster; and grandson, Parker Webster.  

His visitation will be Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home at 8461 Dixie Hwy., Florence, KY 41042.  Funeral services will be Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be at New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, KY.
