Obituary of Gloria Jean Elliott Calderone

Gloria Jean Elliott Calderone, age 87, of Independence, KY (formerly Lawrenceville, NJ), passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY.  She was a member of Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, part of the Quilting Circle and Francescas Book Club, and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading, and was an award winning quilter.  Her husband James Calderone preceded her in death.  She is survived by her children, Maria Calderone Kenner (Thomas), Darwin Calderone, Rocco Calderone (Alyson), and Linda Calderone Eisenbeil (Mark); grandchildren, Thomas Kenner (Rachel), Mark Kenner (Emily), Zachary Calderone (Ally), Nicholas Calderone, Alexandria Calderone, James Calderone, Elizabeth Eisenbeil Turner (Ethan), Ryan Eisenbeil (Jasmine), and Cody Eisenbeil; great grandchildren, Isabella Wind, Olivia Kenner, Charles Kenner, Warren Kenner, Ireland Turner, Marcus Eisenbeil, Smith Eisenbeil, and one Kenner to be announced shortly.  Committal service will be later at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ.  Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence is serving the family.  Memorials may be to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 1 Medical Village Drive, Edgewood, Ky 41017.  To leave a message of condolence or to share a memory, please visit www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
