Obituary of Kathleen "Kathy" Drake

Mary Kathleen “Kathy” (Westerman) Drake, age 68, of Covington, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019. She was born on January 6, 1951 in Covington to the late, Douglas and Joan Westerman.

Kathy worked as an administrative assistant for PNC Bank and retired after 44 years. Throughout her life she enjoyed crafting, cleaning, gardening and occasional casino visit, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents; son, Ryan Drake and brother, Bill Westerman.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, David Drake; daughter, Amanda May (Eric);siblings, Doug Westerman, Michele Smith (Dale) and Toni McDonald; grandchildren, Joseph Drake and Millie May; in-laws, Paul “Duke” Drake, Sue Thompson, James Drake, Mary Ficke, Mark Drake ad Daniel Drake; and many other beloved relatives and friends.

A visitation for Kathy will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 11AM until the time of the Funeral Service, 1PM, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Interment will immediately follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell.
