Obituary of Margaret Hope Starks

Hope Keeney Starks, 96, of Covington, died Sunday at Atria and Highland Crossing. She was a retired occupational therapist with Veterans Hospital, Houston, and formerly with Walter Reed Hospital, Washington. She was a former teacher with Independence, Piner and Park Hills schools. Her husband, Craig Starks, preceded her in death. Survivors include a brother, Donald Kenney of Independence; and sisters, Catherine Keeney Wharton of Independence, Emily K. Klette of Park Hills and Ruth Keeney Fryer of Austin, Texas. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Cemetery Chapel, Fort Mitchell. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Independence Cemetery Perpetual Care Trust Fund No. 4, in care of Highland Cemetery, 2167 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, Ky. 41017. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence, is handling arrangements.
