Obituary of Caryl Margaret Hinkle
Caryl Margaret Hinkle, of Florence, KY passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the age of 88.
She was born in Newport, KY on April 17, 1931. Caryl worked as a cashier at AmeriStop in Burlington and was a 63-year member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Florence.
She was also a member of the Golden Girls Club at Notre Dame Academy, a Kentucky Colonel and the St. Paul Bereavement Committee. In her spare time, Caryl loved cats and enjoyed reading murder mystery novels and Harry Potter, completing crossword puzzles and flower and vegetable gardening.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tilden Steve Hinkle; sons, Dave Hinkle and Baby Hinkle; brothers, Don Schuett and Bob Schuett; and sister, Lois Fahey.
Caryl is survived by her caring sons, Rick (Rhonda) Hinkle and Perry Hinkle; daughter-in-law, Anita Riley Hinkle; sister, Joan Boland; sister-in-laws, Pat Harris and Dee Schuett; grandchildren, Tera Hinkle and Krystal (Dan) Tillett; great-grandchildren, Max Tillett and Xander Tillett; as well as many other relatives and friends who will mourn her sudden passing and continue to cherish her memory.
A visitation for Caryl will take place from 9:15AM until 10:15AM on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 7301 Dixie Hwy, Florence, KY 41042.
A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10:15AM at the church. Caryl will be laid to rest at St. Stephen Cemetery in Ft. Thomas, KY.
