Obituary of Joseph E. Lachenman, Jr.

Joseph E. Lachenman, Jr., “Wild Joe”, age 66, of Walton, KY, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019 at his home.  He was the owner of Wild Joe’s Beef Jerky and the former owner of J & J Quality Meats in Erlanger, KY.  Joe enjoyed collecting antiques and stained glass and restoring furniture.  He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.  His father, Joseph E. Lachenman, Sr., mother, Dolores Lonneman West, step-father, Dr. Clark West, brother, Jimmy Lachenman, and son, Chad Lachenman all preceded him in death. 

He is survived by his wife (of 29 years), Colleen Jo Gregory Lachenman; daughter, Savannah Jo Lachenman Speaks (Rob); step-children, Natalie Stewart (Creed) and Micah Gaunt; siblings, Sherry McCurry, John Lachenman (Judi), Ken Lachenman (Karen), Tom Lachenman, and Donna Ruther (Nick); and grandchildren, Jaden Gaunt, Jimmy Stewart, Tristan Gaunt, and Taven Gaunt. 

A visitation will be held Monday, August 26, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a celebration of life service beginning at 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence.
