Obituary of Glenn Joseph Davis

     Glenn Joseph Davis, age 95, of Florence, KY passed into His Glory on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospice.

     Upon his retirement, he was the owner of Quality Cleaners Dry Cleaning and in earlier years B&K Auto Parts. Glenn is a member of Florence Baptist Church, and supported the Gideons and Shriners International. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends, and looked forward to attending church. Glenn never met a stranger. He was passionate about Kentucky Basketball, often heard cheering the players on in front of his TV, and always loved a good game of cards. 

     Glenn is preceded in death by his loving wife, Margie Whitney Davis, and his parents, Joseph and Phillis Stenburg Davis. He is survived by his children, Becky (Rodney) Osborne and John Davis; sister, Lorraine Tekeley; grandchildren, Amy (Rick) Hughes, Jason Osborne, Jeremy (Nikki) Osborne, Ian (Sarah) Gordon, Alex (Linda Fields) Davis, Kaytlyn (Zach Trumble) Davis and Joey (Ruth Chesser) Davis; great-grandchildren, Dalton and Grace Trusty, Talon, Kate, Mason and Sadie Osborne, Charity and Anna Gordon, Elizabeth, Peyton, Kayley, Emberlyn, Autumn, Lillith, Jeremiah and Ivan Davis; and many other beloved family members and friends.

     A visitation for Glenn will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Hwy, Florence KY 41042. Burial will follow at Richwood Cemetery.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers are suggested to Florence Baptist Church, 642 Mt. Zion Rd. Florence, KY 41042.
