Obituary of Cynthia Carol Jones

     Cynthia Carol Jones, age 53, of Independence, KY passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. She was born the daughter of Hershell and Minie (Combs) Blackburn on June 5, 1966 in Clay County, KY.

     Cynthia loved to listen to music, especially country and Christian music. She also loved baking and reading and spending time with her husband and children.

     In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Darl G. Jones Jr.; her two children, Megan Jones (David Bayer) and Jesse Jones; two siblings, Penny Elaine Clark (Les) and Hershell Ray Blackburn Jr.; nephews, John Peters (Lindsay) and Hershell Ray Blackburn III; and great niece, Rylee Peters.

     Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00PM. Burial will follow at Independence Cemetery.

     Memorial donations can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses in c/o Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home.
