Obituary of Arva Mae Ireland Leming

Arva Mae Leming passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. She was born in Pendleton County, KY on October 11, 1948 to the late Paul and Dorothy Ireland. Arva spent most of her life as a homemaker and enjoyed working in her garden. She was a big fan of Simon Kenton football, cheerleading, and band. In her spare time, she liked attending auctions, craft fairs, and festivals, but most of all she loved to spend time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Arva is preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Samuel Leming, Jr. Survived to mourn her loss and cherish her memory are her sons, Paul (Terry) Leming and Mike (Rachel Taylor) Leming; brother, Paul Hendricks (Barbara) Ireland; grandchildren, Benjamin Robert Leming, Cassandra Marie Leming, Samantha Faith Leming, and Nicholas Allen Leming, as well as many other friends and relatives. 

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 starting at 10 AM until time of funeral service, 12 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike in Independence, KY, 41051. Interment will immediately follow at Williamstown Cemetery.
