James Gabriel Helton, age 64 of Independence, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at Emeritus at Edgewood. He was a realtor and member of St. Patricks Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelley Helton and his mother Margie Helton. Jim is survived by his wife, Jeanie Yee Helton of Independence, son, Jim G. Helton (Chrissy) of Union, daughter, Buddy Jones of Independence, aunt, Mary Alice "Mick"Reardon and 3 grandchildren, Cyndle Wallace, J.Grover Helton, Kelly A. Helton.
Services will be held at Chambers & Grubbs Independence. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 1-3 pm. Funeral service will be at 3 pm. Burial will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery.
