Aaron J. Wayman, 88 years old, of Independence, KY passed away peacefully on November 3, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospice. He was born the son of the late Clarence Elmer Wayman and Sarah Mae (Adams) Wayman on January 15, 1931 in Independence.
He was a member of Union Presbyterian Church and Bradford Masonic Lodge in Independence. Aaron liked to travel, farming, and gardening. Aaron retired from the U.S. Post office where he worked as a letter carrier for 32 years, he also worked ten years driving a school bus for Kenton County and three and half years at Fernald Nuclear Plant in Ohio. Aaron proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Aaron Wayman.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Martha A. (Rogers) Wayman; two sons, Mark (Debbie) Wayman of Boone County and David (Jill) Wayman of Florence; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Wayman of Independence; seven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 11:00AM until time of service at 1:00PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Burial will follow at Independence Cemetery.
