Obituary of Betty Jean Buckler Berkemeier

Betty Jean Buckler Berkemeier, age 87, of Villa Hills, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY.  She previously worked as a medical records clerk at St. Elizabeth Hospital and other local doctors’ offices, an interior decorating adviser, but most importantly, to her and her family, a wonderful homemaker.  Betty enjoyed shopping, cooking, going out to eat, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. 

Her parents, Lawrence and Edith Wilson Buckler, and sister, Kathleen Sexton, preceded her in death.  She is survived by her children, Diane Rosen (Marc), Kenny Berkemeier (Renee), and Babette Centner (Steven); brother, Donnie Buckler; grandchildren, Brent Berkemeier (Emily), Brandon Rosen (Kierston), Stacey Berkemeier, Jason Rosen; and great grandchildren, Pierce, Rocco, Boone, Hazel, Violet, Harper, and Daphne. 

Visitation will be Sunday, November 17, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with services immediately following at 3 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton, KY.  Interment will be at New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, KY.
