Obituary of Dortha Jane Black

     Dortha J. Black, age 96, of Walton, KY passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Gallatin Nursing and Rehab in Warsaw, KY. She was born the daughter of the late Paul and Catherine Aylor on November 24, 1923 in Rabbit Hash, KY.

     In her younger years, Dortha loved to cook good dinners for her family and sewing. She also loved living in Florida in the winter months and working with flowers out in the flowers beds.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward and  siblings, William Aylor, Emily Moyer, Hilda Rogers, and Pauline Shockley.

     She is survived by her daughters, Lana Eads and Lila (Mark) Stansbury;  grandchildren, Brent Mulford, Ferrell (Darren) Jenne, and Megan (Nathan) Staples; and great grandchildren, Harrison Mulford, Pamela Mulford, Emi Jenne, and Brooklyn Jenne.

      Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7^th, 2019 at 12:00 Noon until 2:00PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 45 N Main St, Walton KY 41094.
