Obituary of Carolyn Bernice Griffin Hughes

Carolyn Bernice Griffin Hughes, age 76, of Butler, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY.  She was a former manager at Hughes Dairy in Independence, KY and she enjoyed knitting, crochet, and spending time with her family.  Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Coburn & Evelyn Griffin; sister, Sheila Gayle Slocum; daughter Paula Carol Templeton; and grandson, James Michael John Hendricks.  

She is survived by her children, Bobby Curtis McNeese (Pam), Anita Gay Williams (Clark), and Teresa Faye Huffman (Tim); sister, Norma Jean Hughes; grandchildren, Krissi Hale, Brittany Huffman, Amanda Sweigart, Ashley Williams, and Mickayli Schulz; and great grandchildren, Javen, Allieona, and Camden. 

Visitation will be Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with funeral services to immediately follow at 12 noon at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, KY.
