Betty Dean Carpenter Obituary

Betty Dean Bearden Carpenter, 76, of Independence, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.




She was a homemaker and a member of Community Pentecostal Church, Independence.




Survivors include her husband, Charles Carpenter; sons, Toby Carpenter of Independence and Todd Carpenter of Taylor Mill; sisters, Louise Yelton of Atlanta, Joan Rutherford of Walton and June Dinn of Florida; brothers, Jack Bearden of Villa Hills and Donald Bearden of Spokane, Wash.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.




Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 8th at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
