How I wish we were raising our glasses in a toast to Kelly over lunch at deSha’s which was the last time we saw her ever present smile, eyes that lighted up a room and shared memories, stories, laughter all tempered with hope and optimism. Our leadership team and decisions makers had the privilege to meet Kelly as she masterfully orchestrated the migration of Cincinnati SportsMedicine and Orthopaedic Centers telnet system to a new network and equipment that began with an order to Ideacom at the end of 2004 for 5 offices. Our respect, admiration and appreciation for Kelly knew no limits because she was outstanding. Kelly was our Center’s “voice” on our auto attendant greeting and we always had compliments on her beautiful voice. There was no better face or voice that embodied the professionals at Pro Oncall Technologies who we’ve trusted for so many years. Kelly’s energy was boundless. She brought enthusiasm and expertise to her job and that positive vibe washed over all she touched whether introducing change, educating staff on a new system or making helpful suggestions for how we could work smarter. She always went above and beyond making us feel like we were the most valuable important clients. Nothing made her happier than sharing stories about her family. Grandchildren brought endless joy. Trips to Seattle. Family was everything. I reflected upon my many emails and conversations with Kelly over the past few years after learning of her diagnosis. We were heading to Savannah for an annual conference our Foundation sponsors and Kevin and Kelly were heading south for a follow-up doctor’s appointment. Kelly was always the epitome of health and fitness. How was it possible for a woman with a dread disease to always look so beautiful? Kelly had an inner beauty, strength and faith that were awe inspiring. It is rare to see such embodiment of positivity but that was Kelly. She always had a smile on her face and in her voice. Her smile and her beautiful eyes were captivating. We will cherish the many wonderful memories we shared. To Kevin and all who love Kelly we can only imagine your heartbreak. We know that Kelly is making lives better in Heaven and I smile thinking about what an incredible gift we have lost that Heaven has gained. With love for Kelly always, Linda Raterman and all her friends at Cincinnati SportsMedicine (especially Margaret Wjuker, Bonnie Graziani and Dr. Frank Noyes who loved talking to Kelly during their chance encounters when she worked her magic in our tiny closet of a telnet room - he never failed to compliment her wonderful voice)
