Obituary of Tamarra Denelle Banks

     Tamarra D. Banks, of Walton, KY was taken from this Earth far too soon after a courageous battle with breast cancer at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the vibrant age of 43.

     She was born in Albuquerque, NM on March 10, 1976; the beloved daughter of Russell and Beverly Banks. Sr. Tamarra worked as an IT Specialist for Dell Computers and often enjoyed traveling and camping. She had a love of bowling and was in a league with her family. She was known as “Earthquake” with her family bowling as the team “Natural Disasters”. Her greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her loving family for whom she cherished deeply.

     Survivors left to carry on Tamarra’s memory include her loving parents, Russel and Beverly Banks, Sr.; children, Jasmine Johnson and Marquis Rodgers; siblings, Russell Banks, Jr. and Scenaie Banks; aunt and uncle, Eulanda and Richard Banks; special friend, Sabine; as well as many other close relatives and friends.

     A visitation celebrating Tamarra’s life will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY 41042. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Steve Davis will be officiating the services.
