Obituary of Daniel Back

** ATTENTION **

For all those planning to attend Daniel Back's visitation today, it will still be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at our Independence Funeral Home. Due to the coronavirus concerns, should there be a large attendance, limited numbers of attendees will be permitted in the funeral home at one time (50 per CDC mandates) to allow for adequate spacing between individuals or groups as they wait to pay respects. Others will be asked to remain outside or come back at a later time to assist in maintaining a safe environment for all those who attend. Please be sure to bring a jacket in the event you are asked to wait outside and please be sure to limit your contact with others in attendance as well be sure to use available hand sanitizer and/or wash your hands before offering your condolences to the family. The funeral services are now private for family only. We appreciate your cooperation!

     Daniel Back, of Morning View, KY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the vibrant age of 34.

     He was born the son of Hershel and Theresa (nee Freimuth) Back in Covington, KY on October 24, 1985. Daniel was a faithful member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and was currently working as a HVAC Service Technician for DeBra-Kuemple Inc. In his spare time, he enjoyed building and tinkering with just about anything he could get his hands on. Daniel had a knack for fixing things and would take great pride in helping his family and friends out when they needed him the most. His greatest joy, however, came from spending time with his beloved children whom he cherished dearly.

     Surviving to carry on his memory are his four wonderful children, Dallas Howell, Brooklyn Howell, Sara Back and Eli Back; loving parents, Hershel and Theresa Back; caring siblings, Christopher “Chris” Back and Kasey Back; as well as many other close relatives and friends.

     A visitation for Daniel will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. A funeral service will now be private for the family only. Brother Bill Clark of Hickory Grove Baptist Church will officiate the services. Daniel will be laid to rest at the convenience family. The family is requesting donations be made in lieu of flowers to honor Daniel’s children by clicking on the red Donate Now button below or you can mail or drop off a check to the funeral home to the Back Family, c/o Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. If you wish to donate you may leave an online message for the family, which can be viewed by clicking on the Tribute Wall tab on the left. You may also choose to remain anonymous.
