David Sean Hurta, age 48, of Walton, KY passed away suddenly on Friday, March 13, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood after a long hard fought battle with multiple health conditions. He was born the son of the late Louis Alfred and Mary Catherine (Rhodes) Hurta on October 29, 1971 in Denville, New Jersey.
David was the biggest Stephen King fan! He will be remembered as a collector of all sorts of things, especially books, sunglasses, shoes, and fishing gear just to name a few. However, David’s greatest joy was being an extreme dad to his son, Chance.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer (Patton) Hurta; son, Chance Hurta; step-children, Cheyenne Ullrey, Alex Ullrey, Duncan Ullrey, and Connor Ullrey; extra daughter, Katelynne Hernandez; granddaughter, Lily; sister, Melanie (Bryan) Crim; two nieces, five nephews; and mother and father-in-law, Charles and Susannah Patton.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on at the convience of the family. The family requests that all of his family wear colors to the services as a celebration and refrain from wearing the color black.
