Truett R. DeMoisey




WALTON - Truett R. "Plucker" DeMoisey, 79, died Sunday at his home. He was a consultant for the Kentucky Attorney General's Office, vice president of the A.B. "Happy" Chandler Foundation, past president of National Association of Hearing Officials and a World War II Marine veteran.




He was a member of First Baptist Church, Walton; a Walton-Verona High School alumnus; and earned his law degree from the University of Louisville.




His wife, Mary R. Yealey DeMoisey, died previously.




Survivors include his daughter, Rene Rice, and two grandchildren.




Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Walton. Burial will be in Richwood Cemetery.
