Obituary of Emma Frances Peebles Swango
Emma Frances “Hank” Peebles Swango, age 91, passed away April 10 at her home in Crittenden, Kentucky surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on March 13, 1929.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Isaac Drexell Swango and her grandson Keith Conway Swango. She is survived by her beloved children Joyce Wehner (Bobby), Bubby Swango (Teresea), Debbie Cocco White (Greg), Frank Swango (Judy), 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and her sister Dorothy Peebles McNay.
Frances was a loving wife and caring mother and grandmother that loved her family unconditionally. She was an inspiring role model to all that knew her. She enjoyed eating out at restaurants, taking long drives, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends. Frances had strong religious beliefs. She was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness in 1958 and remained a faithful servant of Jehovah.
“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelations 21:4)
May her precious memories, wisdom, life lessons, family stories, and loving ways live in our hearts forever. She will never be forgotten.
