When I think of Dave, I think of a big smile. He liked to tease and I loved returning the favour. It started every morning at coffee hour as Shirley patiently waited for Dave to choose just the right donut. Everyone he pointed to, I would go to get it for him. No! Not that one! This went on every week all winter long. So my memories are good memories and my smile will continue for Dave and Shirley.

Dear Shirley and family,
We are saddened that we will not see David's friendly smile again this side of heaven; however, we rejoice in knowing we will one day see him again. While visiting David in the hospital after his stroke and then driving him to his radiation treatment, there was no complaining. Through every struggle David remained thankful to his great God who had blessed him so richly. David called me Pastor; I was honored to call him friend.
Until we meet again,
Rev. David and Twonia Edwards
