Obituary of David Wayne Combs

     David Combs, of Union, KY passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the age of 65. He was born in Hazard, KY to the late George and Maxine Combs. David was a hard worker who enjoyed fishing, bowling, and golfing in his spare time. He was also a free mason for several years. David will be remembered by the great guy he was and loved by many.   

     In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Deborah ”Debbie” Kay Combs and sister, Jewel Hughes.

     He is survived by his children, David Douglas Combs and Casey Lynn Combs; beloved grandchildren, Jacob Wayne Harp, Kaitlyn Harp and Chloe Combs; siblings, Diana (David) Turner, Billy (Kathy) Combs, Teresa (Carlos) Combs, Stephen Combs, Wanda Combs, Robert (Anita) Combs, Sonya (Thomas) Thorpe, Ronald (Robin) Combs, Ricky (Leighann) Combs, and Anthony (Dana) Combs; as well as many other relatives and friends who will mourn his loss and forever cherish his memory.

        As per the family’s wishes, services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
