A nice memory of dad and Doug just came to me. We were all at grandma's in Bellbrook for a yummy Sunday dinner. I must have been 9, Doug would have been 3. The lot of us grands was getting on grandma's nerves so dad loaded us up in the station wagon and took us to Spring Valley lake. All of us ran and played while hiking around the lake. Doug was so excited about being free to run, that he sprinted around the mile loop of the lake. Doug kept us on our toes trying to keep up with him. Dad took pure joy in spending time with our family. What a nice, sunny, fall day that was.Worn out, and sleeping, back to grandma's we went, much more subdued. I miss those times. Sending much love. Kay

Dear Aunt Bev and family,
So sorry that Doug passed away. Before dad died he mentioned that Doug, too, was very ill. Both dad and Doug are no longer suffering and at peace. You are in my thoughts. Your niece, Kay

So sorry for the loss of such an amazing family member. We are here for you and the family for anything you need. Nothing he enjoyed more than his family, the Bengals, McDonald’s Hotcakes, and holding on to George’s phone. May he rest in piece. Thoughts and prayers for the entire family
