Obituary of William Craig Barton

     William Craig Barton, age 74, of Erlanger, peacefully passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 while surrounded by his loving family. Craig was born in Corbin, KY and retired from road construction. He was very outgoing and enjoyed things like hunting and fishing, NASCAR, finding bargains, going to turkey shoots, and working with his hands. He also enjoyed music and dancing with his late wife, Billie. His greatest joy in life was his family, Craig loved spending time with his grandchildren.

     Craig is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Eva Barton; his wife of 51 years, Billie Darlene Barton; and brother, Ray Barton. Survived to mourn his loss are his children, Bill (Nancy) Barton and Larry (Rose Marie) Barton; siblings, Lois Taylor, Martha Corbin, Darlene Barton, and Bill Barton; beloved grandchildren, Niklas (Stephanie) Walsh, Brit’ny Barton, Courtney (Josh) Pagett, Tyler Barton, Kyonna Barton, and Collina Barton; great-grandchildren, Jack, Adalyn, Korbin, Kaiah, Tyler Jr., Rayden, Ryan Marie, Caden, and Cameron; multiple nieces and nephews; and many other friends and family members who will cherish his memory.

     A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051. The funeral service will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
