Obituary of Connie Ann Martin

     Connie Martin, age 73, of Independence, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at her residence.

     Connie was born in Covington, KY to the late Robert and Roberta Lowe. She retired as a beautician and was a member of Williamstown Christian Church. She will be remembered as always being a people person. No matter where she went or what she was doing it was as if she had never met a stranger and she truly was a “social butterfly.” Connie enjoyed lunch dates with her best friend Lucy Kinman Sterling, especially the ones where they reconnected with high school classmates. Connie enjoyed things like golfing, cooking, and getting together with her friends to play cards, especially bridge. Her greatest joy of all were her grandkids, Connie loved spending time with her family.

     Connie is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patsy Carruthers; Survived to mourn her loss are her children, Kelli (Rob) Colson and Todd Martin; beloved grandchildren, Jeremy (Stephanie) Martin, Alexis (Ross) Rigsby, Matalyn Colson, Ireland Colson, and Kealee Colson; great-grandchildren, Graham Rigsby, Henry Rigsby, Alex Williams and Addie Williams; as well as many other friends and family members who will cherish her memory.

     A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at 314 S Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097.
