Obituary of Lois McElroy

Lois "Sis" McElroy, 67, of Walton, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was owner of Mac's Liquors and a member of Walton Baptist Church. Her husband, Gene McElroy, died in 1997.
Survivors include a son, Daryl McElroy of Independence; a daughter, Melinda Hoppenjans of Walton; her mother, Lucy Beighle of Piner; and four grandchildren.
Services were at noon today at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Ky. 41014.
