Obituary of Douglas Ray Tucker

Douglas “Doug” Ray Tucker, age 62, of Erlanger, KY passed away peacefully after a tough fight with ALS on Friday, October 2, 2020 at St. Elizabeth in Florence. He was born the son of the late Joyce Stoner in Germany on July 28, 1958.

Doug proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved spending his time in the sun. Doug loved riding his motorcycle, being on the beach, and boating. However, Doug’s greatest joy was being a father.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his girlfriend, Lisa Robertson and sister, Bobbi Jo Garcia.

Doug is survived by his children, Jessica Callahan, Stephanie Watkins, Jordan Dyer, Rachel Tucker, and Jade Tucker; 7 grandchildren; and sister, Michelle Miller; and aunt, Bonnie Richardson.

A gathering will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00pm at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Hwy, Florence, KY 41042. Committal of cremated remains will be held at KY Veterans North at the convenience of the family.

Due to the current Covid-19 state restrictions, we will be limiting the funeral home’s occupancy to 50% of normal capacity while still enforcing 6 feet of social distancing, taking temperatures upon arrival, and requiring the wearing of face masks.
