Obituary of James Thomas Faehr
James “Jim” Thomas Faehr, of Independence, KY passed away surrounded by loved ones on Friday, October 16, 2020 at the age of 64. He was born in Covington, Ky on June 04, 1956; the son of the late Louie and Ursula Margie Faehr. A retired heavy equipment operator at Coppage Construction, Jim’s greatest joys in life were spending time with his family, fishing at Dale Hollow Lake, building anything and everything in his woodshed, and taking country drives with his wife. He especially enjoyed sharing his cooking skills with others and hands down made the best Goetta in town.
Jim was preceded in death by his two brothers, Larry and Timmy, and his sister Debbie.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Pam Faehr, his #1 fan and son Tommy (Taylor) Faehr, best grandson Kaden Faehr, and 2 step-sons Kurt Hensley and Jimmy Foster.
Jim will be so greatly missed by his brother, Rick (Debbie) Faehr; sister-in-law Jeri Lynne Faehr; sister-in-law Robin Himes; his numerous nieces and nephews, Eric (Christina) Faehr, Tori (Ray) Egan, Kelley (James) Heeger, Amber (Eric) Kayse, Tiffany (Aaron) Rupert, Tasha Fehler, Jered Faehr, Hunter Faehr, Myles Faehr, Eric (Jessie) Thorton, Michael Thorton, and Christopher (Alexander) Thorton; their 20 children and grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank you for your thoughts and prayers during this time. A private gathering of family will be held to celebrate the life of Jim.
